About Me

I guess what really inspired me to make this site is my love for nature.
To me it's something special, something that I can feel connected to.
I hope to use this site to combine my love of nature, art, history and walking, to help answer some of the questions that I ask myself whilst exploring our "home". Away to record my discoveries, organise my thoughts, and to hopefully inspire other young people.
Since moving to Pembrokeshire I have been on so many walks as I explore this special place. The landscape is so varied and the culture so rich. From steep blustery mountain tops, sprawling beaches, muddy farmland, mirandering rivers, sheltered valleys and ancient woodland, every walk is so different.

Protecting our home and ensuring it is there for our descendants to enjoy is also very important to me. It appears I'm not the only one as on my walks so far I have come across a National Park, Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), National Nature Reserves (NNR) and Special Area of Conservation (SAC)!! I hope I can use this site to help raise awareness of the fantastic preservation work that occurs within these protected landscapes.

By recording some of the routes I walk I hope to provide young people with the confidence explore our home too.
